2013.08.26 Farmoor Reservoir

As it often happens, places close to where you live aren't the ones the most often visited. When however the Bank Holiday Monday appeared to be too busy to drive down to New Forest, it gave opportunity to see what Farmoor Reservoir is all about.

That wasn't a bad walk, but nothing particularly impressive neither: regular shape of the reservoir on one side and trees on the other side of the road around it, and everything covered in birds' poos.
That would actually make more sense to have a bicycle ride, especially if one is into birds.
Large area and strong winds make it perfect spot for sailing though.
