Next to the B&B I was placed at recent service visit, there was an open air museum of traditional architecture, that I had a brief look from outside just before leaving :
Podorlický open air museum is located not far from the town of Hradec
Králové (towards Třebechovice pod Orebem) in the village of Krňovice.
Podorlický open air museum Krňovice is the only museum of its type in
the Hradec Králové region. It focuses on architectonic and technical
monuments in the Hradec Králové region, the foothills of the Orlické
Mountains and Podkrkonoší. The area which it shows is not covered by any
other open air museum existing today in the Czech Republic. During the
tour you will see not only the buildings themselves but also their
interiors decorated with period pieces. The upmost emphasis is placed on
the functionality of all of the exhibits, many of which can be tried. (after Tourism Portal of Hradec Králové Region)

Jelenia Góra to Wrocław seen from the train
Poland was the last country of recent round trip and one of the legs was a train journey Jelenia Góra - Wrocław. The line is being currently overhauled in order to cut travel time by a third and make it again competitive. The regional train 'Kamieńczyk' of Przewozy Regionalne was pulled by rented from Czech Railways class 163 named 'Olivia' (it's a Czech tradition to name locos after girls), in Wrocław replaced by 'Zosia' on its further way to Poznań.
