Ireland seems to be famous for abandoned buildings - it is spotted with disused castles, churches and other buildings. With misty weather it creates realy mysterious climate.

The process continuous - not only centuries old structures can be found but also quite recent, and even brand new ones, like houses built during estate boom and never sold when the crisis came

First station on the way from Cobh to Cork

Cobh (3) - 150 years of railway

Constant stream of passengers and goods was obvious reason to build a railway line, and in 1862 it opened  - so this year Cobh also celebrated 150 years since that event.

Nowodays it only serves for commuters (and is definitely the fastest link to Cork), and apparently also for some (only some) cruise liners
